Three Pigeons Inn is of ancient construction; because of many original features and tasteful decoration, the pub has a warm and traditional feel. Oak beams, open log fires, brassware and interesting décor makes it a fantastic place to enjoy great beer and good companionship.
We usually serve four real cask ales. These are rotated on a regular basis so that our customers always have new and interesting brews to sample. Many are brewed by local small breweries. We pride ourselves on the quality of our cask ale and always serve fresh and with care.
The ‘Pigeons’ is fondly remembered by many for serving ale in jugs directly from the cellar, we have revived this tradition – we now regularly pop down to the cellar and emerge seconds later with a brimming jug of finest ale. A local potter has produced some unique two and three pint jugs for this purpose. As far as we are aware this practice is unique in North Wales.
We stock cider produced 8 miles down the lane in Llandegla. It’s strong and potent, try it if you dare!
Wines – We have a passion for wine having picked grapes for some of the finest chateaux in France! We sell wine by the glass, democratically selected by the locals. We have a regular wine list and can probably supply anything else you may require from our private cellar!
We also stock Welsh spirits and liqueurs alongside a good range of malt whiskies.
